Finca la Torre from Bobadilla (Malaga) today on 12 Abril 2016 have again a reason to celebrate. They have been awarded for the 4th consecutive time as the best olive oil of Spain at the “Spain Food Award for the best extra virgin olive oil harvest 2015-2016“ the award is awarded annually by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. This is the most important and most independent oil Award of Spain and one of the most important Award in the world.
The Ministry presents the award every year anew to revalue the Spanish virgin olive oils higher quality and encourage producers to develop and market these incredible Extra virgin olive oils worldwide.
Finca la Torre has the most points scored in the organoleptic tasting which are performed blindly by an official panel of olive oil tasters. The samples of the olive oils is carried out by an official of the Ministry which seals the container after he selected in the oil.
