Marqués de Griñón
Estate-bottled extra virgin olive oil from Marqués de Griñón – refined, aromatic, and internationally awarded.
The art of estate olive oil
Marqués de Griñón extra virgin olive oil is produced at the historic Valdepusa Estate, located in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. This emblematic family estate has been linked to agriculture for centuries and is internationally recognised for introducing innovation and excellence into Spanish olive oil production.
The olive groves of Valdepusa are cultivated under an advanced estate-grown model, where every stage of production is carefully controlled. The estate focuses on three outstanding varieties — Arbequina, Picual and Cornicabra — selected for their ability to express both the terroir and the Mediterranean climate. Olives are harvested at optimal ripeness and transported immediately to the mill, where they are cold-pressed within hours to preserve their full aromatic potential.
The result is an olive oil with remarkable balance and depth: medium green fruitiness, harmonious bitterness and spiciness, and elegant notes of tomato plant, green almond, fresh grass and herbs. A refined profile that reflects precision, origin and craftsmanship.

Award-winning and sustainable
Marqués de Griñón made history as the first Spanish olive oil producer to obtain the Protected Designation of Origin “Estate Olive Oil” (Aceite de Pago). This prestigious status guarantees complete traceability and strict quality control from the olive tree to the final bottle, highlighting the uniqueness of Valdepusa as a single-estate producer.
Sustainability is a core value at the estate. Modern irrigation systems, responsible water management and biodiversity conservation are combined with traditional farming knowledge to ensure long-term environmental balance. This commitment not only protects the land, but also enhances the consistency and quality of each harvest.
Elegant, persistent and expressive, Marqués de Griñón extra virgin olive oil is designed for discerning palates. It elevates gourmet cuisine, from meats and vegetables to salads and simple bread tastings. More than an ingredient, it is a signature olive oil that embodies the pinnacle of Spanish olive-growing excellence.
