Olive Oil from Hacienda Queiles
At Hacienda Queiles dreams, illusions and technology come together to create special olive oils that are well cared for in every respect and of first-class quality.

Hacienda Queiles offers premium olive oil in organic quality
In the Middle Ages, olive groves already existed in the Queiles Valley in the south of Navarre. The monks of the monasteries of Tulebras, Fitero and Veruela devoted themselves not only to viticulture but also to olive cultivation. At the foot of Mount Moncayo, surrounded by the Queiles River, the geographical and climatic conditions proved to be ideal.
To this day, much of that historical setting remains unchanged: the monasteries are preserved, as is the impressive natural landscape. What has evolved over time is the expansion of the olive groves and the modernization of the oil mill, which today is equipped with state-of-the-art technology while remaining faithful to traditional craftsmanship.
Founded in 1988 by Don Alfredo Barral, Hacienda Queiles has been part of the Cirsus family since 2021. Through teamwork, expertise and dedication, and despite extreme climatic conditions with hot summers and icy winters, two exceptional organic olive oils are produced each year: Abbae de Queiles, a pure single-varietal olive oil, and Alhema de Queiles, an elegant and expressive coupage.
Unique in production, exquisite in taste
As with all certified organic olive oils from Hacienda Queiles, the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides is strictly prohibited. Only olives from the estate’s own groves are used for both Abbae de Queiles and Alhema de Queiles. Extreme care during harvesting—only healthy, intact fruits are processed—combined with rapid milling protects the olives from oxidation and preserves their natural aromas.
As a co-founder of the prestigious association “Pagos de Olivar”, Hacienda Queiles stands for the highest production standards. From the olive tree to the final bottle, quality, sustainability and environmental protection are the guiding principles.
A distinctive feature of the estate is its traditional milling process using granite stone rollers. This gentle method keeps olive pits in coarse fragments that can be removed, preventing excessive bitterness and allowing the fresh fruit aromas to shine through in both Abbae de Queiles and Alhema de Queiles.
