Its resulting intensive sensations are given both in the smell and in taste and very pronounced.
The winner olive oil has intensive green notes which remind of olive sheets, wild fresh herbs, freshly cut grass and green banana peels. Also, scores of green vegetables such as artichokes and tomatoes come to light. The palate has an intense green taste which is in line with the odor flavors. Intensive hardness, bitterness and particularly persistent spicy. However, in the whole a wonderful balanced taste.
In the category Medium Fruity, the award went to the farmers association Almazaras Subbética from Carcabuey (Córdoba).
The olive oil, calculated in the category, is the Parqueoliva Series Oro. The green intics, however, mild flavors have convinced the jury and the oil emerged as a winner.
It is a Copage from two different olive varieties about 80% Hojiblanca and 20% Picudo.
The oil presents itself with aromas after freshly cut grass and other green fruits such as almonds, apples and tomatoes. In the palate it has a sweet taste that reminiscent of green almonds, with medium bitterness and sharpness it offers a harmonious and pleasant taste.
