The olives come from the privileged microclimate of the Tiétar Valley in Extremadura, an area of unspoiled nature and long olive-growing tradition. Emperor Charles V already valued this exceptional environment and chose the La Vera region as a place of retreat. To preserve this natural purity, production is deliberately limited and every stage is carried out with great care.
The Cornicabra Olive
Cornicabra is one of Spain’s most distinctive olive varieties. Medium-sized and slightly curved, it takes its name from its resemblance to a goat’s horn. It is highly valued for its robustness and the remarkable stability of the oil it produces.
Cornicabra olive oil features an intense green fruitiness with notes of fresh grass, olive leaf and green apple. On the palate it offers a smooth initial sweetness followed by balanced bitterness and pungency, resulting in a persistent and characterful finish.

Weil ich ein Gourmet bin, kaufe ich San Carlos Gourmet! ? Ein hochwertiges, natives Olivenöl extra, das sich ausschließlich für Genießer eignet. Daher verschenke ich dieses Öl, wenn ich es nicht selbst verwende, auch nur an meine besten Freunde.
Weil mir das Beste gerade gut genug ist, nehme ich ausschließlich dieses Gourmet-Öl. Es ist von Spitzenköchen empfohlen und lässt sich meiner Ansicht nach mit keinem anderen Olivenöl vergleichen.
