English Pepper or Jamaica Pepper Onena 40g

It is originally from America, from a beautifuly aromatic tree that belongs to the family of the myrtle. The berries are a little bit bigger that those of common pepper and they are gathered when they are still green and dried in the sun, until they attain a brown colour.

Its flavour is a mix of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove with a reminiscence of peppers. It is used in blended species to pickle, for soused fish for seafood, meats, game, poultries, vegetables, rice, sauces, etc...
